Thank you for your interest in partnering with our agency and joining the fight against child abuse. Children’s Advocacy Center for North Texas is a 501 (C)3 non-profit serving children who are victims of felony-level child abuse, including sexual abuse, physical assault, witness to violence or death, and sex trafficking. We collaborate with prosecutorial teams, law enforcement jurisdictions, Department of Family and Protective Services teams, hospitals, child advocates, volunteers, and You to help families in Denton, Wise, and Jack counties receive the justice and healing they so rightfully deserve.

Providing a Solution

Child abuse occurs regardless of race, gender, language, or socio-economic status. We provide critical, no-cost services to child victims (0-17) and their families who come to us through an open investigation of severe child abuse. We are the ONLY agency in Denton, Wise, or Jack counties where a child abuse victim can be interviewed and recorded for law enforcement, prepared for trial, receive a sexual assault nurse examination, get supportive family services, and be clinically counseled in their native language - all under one roof. In the neutral setting of the Advocacy Center, team members collaborate on strategies that will aid investigators and prosecutors without causing further harm to the child. This innovative multidisciplinary approach significantly increases the likelihood of a successful outcome in court and in long-term healing for the abused child, the most vulnerable of crime victims. Together, we provide the critical services children need to become kids again.
